Living with a rare disease can reshape every part of a person’s life. For many students, it means navigating complex medical needs alongside their education, often without the support systems others take for granted.
The RAREis Scholarship Fund was created to change that. In partnership with the EveryLife Foundation for Rare Diseases, the program supports students living with rare diseases as they pursue higher education, build community, and move forward with confidence in their future.
What began as a scholarship has grown into something more—a community of individuals connected by shared experience, ambition, and a commitment to shaping the future of rare.

More Than a Scholarship
For many scholars, finding RAREis means finding others who understand the challenges of living with a rare disease while still pursuing their goals. It creates connection where there was once isolation and opens the door to shared learning, mentorship, and support.
